Tekcam is a Toowoomba based business and was founded due to the increasing enquiries we were receiving over the years for our design and manufacture of covert security cameras. About 5 years ago, many of the items we used to make became available as ‘off the shelf’ items. Our core business is CCTV camera systems. We still maintain a side of the business for specialised equipment. Tekcam can design a camera to record anything and are specialists in sending video over long distances with microwave repeaters. Up to 50km is possible.
We stock most items so they are ready to go. Tekcam has Analogue and Megapixel IP camera systems. We favor Sony cameras but also use Omni Vision. Other Brands we use are Samsung and Axis. Our minimum camera in either range is a 700 tvl Sony camera. Effio in the Analogue range and 2 – 5 MP in IP.
We have our own DVR’s and NVR’s and stand by these with a great warranty. Should there be a warranty claim they are handled in house. So no sending items off to some manufacturer.
